Yes. Summa is free to download, and the Free plan lets you record your money without limits. Summa Pro adds the intelligence on top: the personal assistant, the forecaster, investments, net worth, widgets and Spaces, from $4.17 a month billed annually ($49.99 a year) or $6.99 monthly, with a one-month free trial. Pro Lifetime is a one-time $124.99.
What does the Free plan include?

Is the assistant private?
Yes. Summa Personal Assistant answers everyday questions on your device with Apple Intelligence, and on iOS 27 sends only complex questions to Apple's Private Cloud Compute. It reads your accounts, budgets, transactions and forecast and answers with your real numbers. Every change it wants to make is proposed first, applied only when you approve, and can be undone. It requires Summa Pro and a device with Apple Intelligence.
Is the Mac app native?
Yes. Summa for Mac is a real native Mac app, not a Catalyst port, and it is included with your subscription. It has a permanent sidebar, resizable windows, full keyboard control and menu bar commands, a menu bar panel that syncs in the background and shows a compact overview, Touch ID lock and Continuity Camera for receipts.
Which devices does Summa support?
Summa is a native app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. One ledger stays in step across all three through a private cloud mirror of your on-device data, and Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets give you at-a-glance financial visibility.
How does automatic bank syncing work?
Summa connects to your bank through Plaid, the same secure service used by leading finance apps. The connection is read-only, your bank credentials are never seen or stored by Summa, and access tokens are kept on the server, never on your device. You can trigger a manual sync or disconnect any institution at any time.
Which countries have bank sync?
Automatic bank sync through Plaid is available in the United States with Pro+Connect. Everywhere else, Summa imports statements from more than a hundred banks and cards, reads receipts with the camera and takes manual entries in seconds. In the United States and United Kingdom, Apple Card, Apple Cash and Savings link directly on iPhone and iPad.
Which Apple Wallet accounts can I link?
Apple Card, Apple Cash and Savings, through Apple's FinanceKit. Balances and transactions import automatically with no bank sign-in to maintain. Apple Wallet accounts are available in the United States and the United Kingdom, on iPhone and iPad.
